In The News: ‘ETS must be suspended’ — Lufthansa boss
Lufthansa’s boss has called for the E.U. emissions trading scheme to be suspended until it can be introduced globally and not just in Europe.
ETS was introduced for all airlines flying in and out of airports in the European Union from January 1 but major non-E.U. nations including Russia, the United States, China and India have threatened sanctions against European carriers in protest about the scheme.
